"I'm Going Home"

"God said he would dwell in a cloud, but I've built a temple most splendid, a place for you to live in forever."
2 Chronicles 6:1-2

On March 15, 1969, the world welcomed Antonio Cabral, lovingly and most known as "Tony." He was born in Roxbury's "Dioni Puntu" to parents Benjamin and Maria Cabral. Tony graduated from South Boston High School in 1987. He started his career as an electrician and went on to explore many other avenues of creativity throughout his beautiful journey. Tony passed away on November 6th, 2023. He was 54 years old.

Tony was a loving and supportive father. He was best known for his smile, infectious laughter, kindness, and entrepreneurial spirit. He lit up every room he was in - you wanted to be near him. There was never a dull moment. Tony was driven and always wanted more for himself. Tony was a man of many talents and firsts. He was a mentor and selfless leader.

Tony is survived by his mother, Maria Cabral; sisters Ana, Joaquina, Liana, Tanya, Mariazinha, and Antonette; brothers Henrique, Ovidio, and Manuel. He was an amazing father to his beautiful children, Monique, Mariah, Alize, Salena, and Trey; step-children Tony, Beanie, and Lala; grandchildren Mason, Madison, ZhaMia, Kendall, Tony Jr., Jade; and a loving long-time partner to Greta White. He was a caring uncle to his many nephews and nieces, a nephew to many aunts and uncles, and a cousin to numerous cousins. Tony was a loyal friend and left behind a community. Tony is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Cabral, and sister, Maria DaCruz.

Tony was precise, organized, well put together, a man of integrity and unconditional love. Tony will leave a legacy of overcoming adversity and creating long-lasting joy for all who knew and loved him. His generosity was unrivaled, and his love for his family was unmatched. This is the core of the indelible mark he leaves behind.
