Christopher Modes-Long, Jr. was born on February 11, 1995, in Brockton, MA, to Christopher Long and Lorelei Modes.

Christopher, fondly known as Chris loved to work with computers and with people; he was a great teacher and knew technology like the back of his hand.

Chris has always loved making new friends online. He became the light on everyone's bad day. He was a confidant to many and offered his time to allow you just to vent. He loved being around his family and friends with the intention of making times memorable. Chris had a big, warm heart, and he always made you feel welcomed, heard and acknowledged.

Christ, age 28, passed away on October 17, 2023, due to complications from a lifelong heart condition.

Chris leaves to cherish in his memory his mother, Lorelei Modes of Brockton, and his Father, Christopher Long of Brockton; His stepmother, Carrie Long; and his step-father, Jonathan Akuaku. He also leaves his Siblings: Jolie Modes-Akuaku, Castle Long, Jolicia Modes-Akuaku, Cora Long, and Khadija Gaudett. His Grandparents: Luann Modes, Samuel Modes, and Josephine Long. His uncles and aunts: Josias Modes, April Modes; Susan Long, Jennifer Damian, and Sterly Damian.

Chris is loved and will be missed by his numerous cousins, relatives, and friends, including his long-time girlfriend, Kelci Marasco.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William L. Long, Jr.
