In Loving Memory of Debra Lucille Billops

It is with profound sadness, yet deep gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the passing of Debra Lucille Billops, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 9, 2026, at her home in Beacon Hill, Massachusetts.

Debra was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Billops; her mother, Evelyn Baker Gibson; and her father, Walter Gibson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her only son, Eric Gibson and his wife, Antonia, of Georgia; her only sister, Vanessa Sims, of Georgia; her beloved niece, Valencia Sims, and nephew, Kelvin Sims, both of Georgia. She is also lovingly remembered by her stepdaughters, Tina, Rennie, Patricia, and Diane, of Delaware, along with a host of cherished grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Debra dedicated many years of faithful service to the Wyndham Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, where she retired after a distinguished career. She was admired for her strong work ethic, kindness, and genuine warmth toward everyone she encountered.

Debra's life was a beautiful testament to love, resilience, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family. She found joy in caring for those she loved, offering encouragement, and creating lasting memories that will continue to be treasured for generations.

Although our hearts are heavy with her passing, we take comfort in knowing that her legacy of kindness, generosity, and enduring love will live on in the lives she touched. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and compassionate heart will never be forgotten.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
