En la brisa que acaricia la palma, en el canto del gallo al amanecer, vive el eco de tu risa,

Mamá, y el calor de tu fe que supo sostener.

Bajo cielos de Quisqueya tan brillantes, tus manos tejieron amor sin cesar

—con cada plato servido, cada rezo murmurante,

nos enseñaste lo que es amar y honrar.

Tu voz era arrullo en tiempos de duelo, tu mirada, farol en la oscuridad.

Cuando todo dolía, tú fuiste consuelo—nuestra patria, nuestro hogar, nuestra verdad.

Ahora el corazón se parte en silencio, porque tu ausencia grita sin hablar.

Pero en PAUSE nos detenemos con reverencia, para respirar, recordar, sanar.

Aquí, en la casa que honra la vida, te despedimos con flor y canción.

No como un fin, sino como semill aque florecerá en cada oración.

Descansa, Mamá, en paz eterna, entre ritmos de tambora y mar.

In the breeze that kisses the palm trees,

in the rooster’s song at break of day, lives the echo of your laughter,

Mama, and the warmth of your faith that held us strong.

Beneath the brilliant skies of Quisqueya, your hands wove love without ceasing

— with every dish served, every whispered prayer, you taught us how to love and how to honor.

Your voice was a lullaby in times of sorrow, your gaze a lantern in the dark.

When everything hurt, you were our comfort—our homeland, our home, our truth.

Now the heart breaks in silence,because your absence shouts without words.

But through PAUSE, we pause in reverence, to breathe, remember, and heal.

Here, in this house that honors life, we bid you farewell with flowers and song.

Not as an ending, but as a seed that will bloom with every prayer.

Rest, Mama, in eternal peace, among rhythms of drum and sea.

Your legacy walks with us always, and your soul will never cease to shine.
