Bishop Earl McDowell, a chosen and faithful servant of God, entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2025 at the age of 71. His life began in Boston, MA on November 22, 1953 and his path led him to answer the Lord's call to ministry at the tender age of 22. After receiving the mantle from Bishop Hermon Reid, founder, Bishop McDowell served as the pastor of All Saints Pentecostal House of Prayer in Boston, MA for 21 years. He kept the church in the old path by continuing to teach the doctrine of true holiness.
Aside from the ministry, Bishop McDowell thoroughly enjoyed church and family gatherings, playing the piano, and great food! His hearty laugh, and theatrical sense of humor showered happiness on everyone around him.
Bishop McDowell shared 49 joyful years with his beloved wife, Patricia McDowell. He was a devoted father to Angela Miles-Marshall, Valerie Thompson and Michael McDowell; a treasured grandfather to Tiffany, Jordan, Corey, Troy, Amber and Marcus. He also leaves siblings: Walter, Lucille, Renee, Margo, and many extended family members to cherish his memory.
Bishop McDowell was predeceased by his father: Hubert McDowell, mother: Bertha McDowell; and Twin brother: Edward McDowell.
