Elianise "Nanna" Parice

Our Beloved

Elianise Parice was born on October 7, 1924, in Saint-Louis-du-Nord, Haiti, to her father, Parice Felusma, and mother, Silvanie Felusma. Elianise was married to Elisnor Telisnor, who owned farmland, and they worked as agricultural farmers in their hometown. Elianise was a hardworking, ambitious, and entrepreneurial woman. As part of a large community in Haiti, Elianise was always generous with her resources and gave to those in need. Many of her nieces and nephews became adopted children to her; she treated them all like her own. Elianise was a compassionate and kind soul, and she also loved a good joke! Her smile and laughter would fill any room with joy. She loved music and and loved dancing even more. Though not having any formal education, Elianise was sharp and very intelligent, making sure that all her children excelled in school and achieved a better life for themselves.

A loving mother to nine children, Elianise would be described as "the best mother a child can ever have" and a "great cook". Later in life, she moved to the US to live with her daughter in Cambridge, MA, where she spent her remaining years. While in the US, she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ and became a believer. She was a regular attendant at Emmanuel Evangelical Church in Everett, MA. Elianise was both faithful and prayerful, always interceding for her family and others. On February 16, 2026, Elianise breathed her final breath and went home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Parice and Silvanie, her husband, Elisnor, and her children, Eliana, Dieudila, and Ritho.

Her legacy continues to live on in the numerous descendants that she has left behind. Elianise is survived by her children, Adelicia, Charitable, Eli and his wife Kathy, Sephise and Dieufort and his wife Lavanette, and grandchildren Madelene, Anose, Mecilia, Julie, Anise, Venuce, Lucbert, Jean Robert, Vonette, Raoul, Jeanide, Richard, Lisbeth, Jean, Elmire, Eliot, Eloise, Eric, Eli, Erica, Gary, Monalissa, Jenypha, Jocelyn, Job, Mirlande, Jeff, Ted, Valendy, Carly, Vadner, Jeabest, Rithlore, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
