John Patrick Loughran

John Patrick Loughran, 71, of Dorchester, MA, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born on October 22, 1952 in Lowell, MA to Arthur and Mary (Prescott) Loughran.

He was the beloved husband of 43 years to Annie (Ufrazier) Loughran and a devoted father. John is survived by his wife Annie; his son Stephen Loughran and his wife Amanda Chaves Loughran; and his stepson Gary Laing. John is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Thomas Loughran.

 John was an avid reader, runner, swimmer, and hiker. Nothing made him happier than spending a quiet evening with his family on his back porch, talking while listening to music or Red Sox games. John proudly worked at Beth Israel Hospital for over 40 years, in Infection Control.
