Jonathan T. Rupan
AKA Gaza, JonJon
Dec 27, 1990 — Sep 19, 2026
HIS STORY
Jonathan Trevor Rupan was born on December 27, 1990, in Guyana. In 2003, Jonathan migrated to the United States, where he continued his education and began building a life surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones.
Jonathan attended St. Stephen’s High School in Guyana and later attended McCormack Wilson Middle School and Excel High School in the United States. He worked at the Fronto King and then perused a career in construction.
Jonathan Rupan was a loving, kind, and respectful young man who always seemed to have a smile on his face. His warm spirit touched everyone around him, and he will be remembered for the love, laughter, and joy he shared with those who knew him.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including watching television, playing video games, listening to music, and, most of all, being a DJ. Music was a special part of who Jonathan was. He had a deep passion for it and loved sharing that passion with others. Through the music he played, he brought people together, created special moments, and allowed his personality to shine.
Above all else, Jonathan loved his children. Being a father meant so much to him; they were his heart, his pride, and one of the greatest joys of his life. The love he had for them was undeniable and will forever remain part of his legacy. Although they will miss having him physically beside them, the love he gave, the memories they created together, and the lessons he left behind will always live within them.
Because Jonathan made such a lasting impression on those around him, we will continue to cherish the memories he gave us. We will remember his smile, laughter, kindness, love for music and the special moments we shared. We are grateful for every moment, conversation, laugh, and memory we were blessed to share with him. Jonathan is known for that 2 am knock at the window saying mom open the door or mom you have curry I coming to get some I wanna make a pot.
Jonathan’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of
His children, parents, siblings, extended family, friends,
and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Though he is no longer with us,
His memory will live on through
the lives he touched and the love he shared.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
