Her Story
We gather here today in deep sorrow, but also in deep love, to honor the life of Kristine Natasha Gregory-a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a remarkable woman whose presence lit up every space she entered.
Kristine was born on December 21st, 1983, to Gladys and Eukle Gregory-a gift to this world just a few days before Christmas. From the very beginning, she brought joy and warmth to everyone around her as the first born child. Kristine was the eldest of 4 siblings, Brandon Gregory and Margaret Gregory and Alaina Gregory.
To know Kristine was to know someone who loved deeply and lived fully. She had a vibrant spirit, an infectious laugh, and a heart that overflowed with compassion. She could light up a room with just her smile, and she made everyone-friend, family, or stranger-feel like they mattered.
But if you asked her what her proudest role was, without hesitation, she'd say: "Being a mother." Kristine's four children were her world. She loved them fiercely and unconditionally. Every decision she made, every sacrifice, every hope and prayer-was for them. She wanted them to thrive, to feel safe, and to know how deeply they were loved.
Kristine was also a fighter-quietly resilient, endlessly determined, and full of grace even in the face of life's most difficult challenges. She carried burdens that most could never imagine, and yet she never stopped showing up for those she loved. She was the kind of person who gave her last, even when she had little to give. That's just who she was. Kristine was also a fashionista, a great cook and a great connoisseur of good eats.
Her passing is a devastating loss-not just for her family and friends, but for the community she touched with her kindness, her authenticity, and her unwavering love. And while we grieve, we also give thanks-for the time we had with her, for the lessons she taught us, and for the legacy she leaves behind.
Kristine Natasha Gregory was taken from us far too soon, but her spirit lives on-in the laughter of her children, in the memories we hold close, and in the love that continues to ripple out from the life she lived.
Kristine leaves behind four children, daughters Kalis Gregory, Teddi Simone Hargrove, Kelsi Gregory and son Korey Gregory. She also leaves her parents Gladys and Eukle Gregory, Siblings Brandon, Margaret, Alaina, Shauna Gregory-Lamb, adopted sister Wendelyn Joseph, niece Leilah Carruthers, nephew Antony Altamirano, Grandmother Hazel Birthright and many aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
Today, we say goodbye. But more importantly, we say thank you. Thank you, Kristine, for loving us, for teaching us, and for showing us what strength and grace truly looks like.
May your soul rest in peace, and may your memory be a blessing to us all.
