Maxine was a praying woman who loved God, her children and travelling. She lived out the acronym WWJD. It’s seen in her mentorship and volunteering with Rosie’s place. She was an active member of the Berea S.D.A. Church and served in various positions such as sabbath school, vacation bible school and elder.
Maxine showed her compassion for people while working for humanitarian organizations like Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee over thirty years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Wilmoth Knight as well as her brother, Gregory Knight.
Those who mourn her passing include her husband Neville, children Neville, Nyree and Nadia. Daughter-in-law Nadine, step-daughter Margo, four siblings, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, the in-law family of Neil, Brown and Carroll and other family and friends.
