Michael "Big Mike" McTaggart

Michael was the youngest child of Mavis McTaggart and Alfred McTaggart both deceased.

He graduated from Boston Technical High School. He went on to explore his love of music, especially reggae, which grounded him in his Jamaican roots.

He was a DJ for many years and played at local clubs in Boston. He went on to work in other industries including security and food prep.

He was known for his friendly personality, fierce loyalty to his family and those he cared about like family. He was also the first on the dance floor no matter where he was.

There was no one like "Big Mike" to all he knew.

He will be deeply missed and always remembered by his surviving family, his sisters Sandra Mctaggart and Angela Garraway, his children Michael Mells, Akeylah McTaggart, Najjah McTaggart  and Isaiah McTaggart. His grandchildren Gavonnie age 11 and Emery age 5 months. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara (Andre) McTaggart.
