Patrick Jerome McConaga, age 59, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2026.
Patrick was born on June 21, 1967, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Queen E. Jackson and the late James W. McConaga. In 1985, his mother relocated the family to Boston, Massachusetts, where he built lifelong friendships and established the foundation for a life marked by hard work, compassion, and dedication. He graduated from Brighton High School in Brighton, Massachusetts, in 1987 and later earned his degree from Northeastern University in 2007.
Patrick worked for many years as an Information Technology Technician with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he was respected for his professionalism, technical expertise, dependability, and unwavering willingness to help others. His dedication to his work and his commitment to excellence earned the respect of his colleagues and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Beyond his career, Patrick was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. He was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, warm smile, and generous spirit. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. Whether spending time with family, sharing stories with friends, or supporting those in need, Patrick's presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. His love for his family was evident in all that he did, and the memories he created will be cherished forever.
Patrick leaves to cherish his loving memory his beloved mother, Queen E. Jackson; his second father, Willie Casby; his second mother, Willie Pearl Clark; his siblings, James McConaga, Frederick McConaga Sr. (Lisa), Thiquita McConaga, Jeremy McConaga, Danielle McConaga-Freeman, Darren Mohammed, Roderick Casby, Sharon Casby, and Aaron Casby; his nieces and nephews, Ladarius McConaga, James White, Alisha McConaga, Jemier Almond, Takiyah Mohammed, Tanashia Smith-McConaga, Tyree Smith, Frederick McConaga Jr., Jacarei McConaga, Isaiah McConaga, Lindsey Scott, Kayla McConaga, and Aaliyah McConaga; his lifelong childhood friend, Andre Moore; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, James W. McConaga; his grandparents, Lucy and George Jackson; his paternal grandmother, Leola Trimblehis; brother, Steven Casby; his brother-in-law, Rodney Almond; and his beloved nephew, Shyheem Riley.
Although Patrick's earthly journey has come to an end, the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the example he set will continue to inspire all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, integrity, and unwavering love for his family will live on through those who were blessed to call him son, brother, uncle, family, and friend.
