Ray Charles Gandy

Jun 6, 1957 — Jun 25, 2026

Ray Charles Gandy was born on June 6, 1957, to the late Bobby Gandy and Luvennia Robinson Gandy, and peacefully departed this life on June 25, 2026. Affectionately known as “Ray Charles,” he received his education in the New York, Philadelphia, and Boston public school systems, and as a young man enjoyed working at a local movie theater. He built his working life with his hands and his heart — first at Bethlehem Steel Shipyard from 1975 to 1985, and later with Vu Cuong Construction Company alongside his brother, John, until his health no longer allowed him to continue.
