Rh-Anya Rhoden

June 14, 1982 — September 8, 2023

Rh-anya's excursion throughout this life was full of love and excitement. Affectionately known as Brown Sugar, Dutchess, Rain, Dawn, and Ray Ray, she was born into this world on June 14, 1982, to Racheal Rhoden (dec) and Alvin Stowe. Rh-Anya was a bright star. She took her talents through Dorchester High School, Bunker Hill Community College, Northeastern University, and Bay State College. She worked at Faulkner Hospital, Home Depot, and, most recently, Fenway Park.

Rh-Anya had an infectious personality. She was always telling jokes and pulling pranks on her friends. Many would say that she was the life of the party. Rh-Anya was a whole "Vibe." She enjoyed hanging out with friends, but her dog "Major" became her beloved "Road Dog." She worked hard to help support her family and cared for her beloved Grandmother through some very tough times. She was very easy to love and hard to forget.

While Rh-Anya did not attend church very often, she knew the Lord, and throughout her life's journey, she lived out His command to "love one another" and spread that love to all she encountered. Everyone was a friend, and they were greeted as such. Once you saw her smile, you just knew that a big hug was coming next.

September 8, 2023, will forever be embedded in our hearts. On that day, the world seemed colder. We're all going to miss you, Rh-Anya. Your light had shone so brightly along your journey here on earth. We all hope that when you're up there in Heaven, you'll sprinkle a little stardust on those you left down here. I hear that Heaven is a vibe on a whole new level. Enjoy the vibe until we meet again.

~Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with the comfort of your love that they may face each new day with hope and the certainty that nothing can destroy the good that has been given~
