Ross Lambright (Dukes) was born on April 10, 1970, to Rayfield Dukes, Sr. and Eartha Mae Lambright in Boston, MA.
Ross grew up in Orchard Park (OP) along with his ten brothers and sisters. In OP is where he and his brothers played all types of sports. Ross perfected his basketball skills. He had a deadly left hand that no one could guard or stop. He was MVP of the youth league!
He attended South Boston High School and earned his GED in 1989. He went onto auto mechanics school and became a licensed mechanic. Ross was a great provider and a hard worker. Over the course of his professional career, he worked at Midas, Speedy, and most recently Monro Auto Service and Tire Center. Ross was a master-certified mechanic.
Ross loved to fix things. Once, he made lights for his bike by connecting two 9-volt batteries to his mother's Christmas lights. Mother Lambright was not too happy with her Christmas lights being dismantled.
Ross also loved old school soul music since he was 17 years old. At any time he would listen to his favorite artists, Roy C and David Ruffin, and others. In his last days we played his favorite music, and he would give us sign that he enjoyed it, and would sing along.
Ross was preceded by his brothers: David L. Sweatman, Sr., Milton Lambright, Tyrone Lambright, and Joseph Raymond Lambright. He was a son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Eartha Mae Lambright of Boston, MA; his father, Rayfield Dukes, Sr. (June) of North Attleboro, MA; his children: Nathaniel Ross Watson, Desmond Watson (Shaunda), Ashley Dickerson (Scott), Ross R. Lambright all of Boston, MA; his grandchildren: Nathaniel M. Watson Wilson, Cameron Dickerson, Savannah Dickerson, Amyrah Dickerson, Noah Dickerson, Xander Watson, Kylo Watson; his sisters: Brenda Lambright, Melissa Lambright, and Tammy Sanford all of Boston, MA, Keonia Dukes, Latora Dukes both of North Attleboro, MA; his brothers: Tim Lambright (Shena), Eric Lambright, Izaac Ben Israel (Uriella) all of Boston, MA, Rayfield Dukes, Jr. (Micheline) of North Attleboro, MA, Rodney Dukes of Brockton, MA; and a host of uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
May his life be a blessing to us all and
May he rest in eternal Peace.
